These materials can be used in glazes, slips, washes and surface tests, depending on the oxide and firing temperature. They are ideal for potters who want to experiment without buying large quantities.

Please handle ceramic powders carefully. Avoid breathing dust, use appropriate protection when mixing, clean with a damp sponge or HEPA vacuum, and keep away from children, pets, food and drink.

A glossy brown-red stoneware glaze with warm amber movement. Tiger’s Eye breaks from deep brownish red to frothy amber depending on application thickness, with heavier coats giving more movement and colour variation.
Best suited to stoneware fired around cone 6. Results will vary depending on clay body, thickness of application, firing schedule and kiln position.

A glossy deep purple crystal glaze with bold, decorative movement. Passion Flower fires to an opaque purple base, with crystals that bloom into shades of blue, white, and grey for a lively, dramatic surface.

A glossy coral crystal glaze with bright floral warmth and natural variation. Amaryllis fires to a transparent coral base, with crystals that bloom into shades of brown, yellow and orange across the surface.

A soft, pale turquoise studio glaze with a fresh, airy finish. Cooper Skies gives a gentle blue-green surface with subtle variation, breaking slightly paler over edges, rims and raised details.

A warm amber studio glaze with a glossy crackle surface and rich honeyed depth. Honey Amber Crackle can show golden, caramel and darker pooled tones, with the crackle pattern becoming more visible over texture, edges and thicker areas of application.

Pictured over Porcelaine
A soft glossy blue studio glaze with a calm, delicate finish. Bluebell gives a light blue to blue-lilac surface, with gentle variation over texture, rims and throwing lines.
It also layers beautifully over Oil Spot Black, where it can develop deeper blue tones, added movement and more dramatic surface variation.

A dark, glossy bronze-black studio glaze with rich metallic warmth and subtle blue-green undertones. Bronze Age gives a deep, atmospheric surface with iron-rich variation, amber edges and darker pooled areas, especially over curves, rims and textured forms.

A deep black studio glaze with a glossy, atmospheric finish. Oil Spot Black can produce subtle speckling, depth and variation across the surface, with richer effects where the glaze pools or catches texture.
It also creates spectacular and sometimes surprising effects when layered under other glazes, particularly Copper Skies, where it can add depth, movement and dramatic surface variation.

A bold, glossy blue studio glaze with strong colour and natural movement. Sapphire Blue gives a bright, jewel-like finish and can show deeper tones where the glaze pools, especially on textured or thrown surfaces.

A rich blue-green studio glaze with depth, movement and coastal variation. Ancient Mariner can shift between teal, sea-blue and copper tones, especially over texture, carving and throwing lines.
