Help someone take part
Would you like to make a donation to help provide pottery courses for people who would otherwise be unable to afford the fees?
Max’s Pottery is a registered charity and will match every donation pound for pound, doubling the support available.
Frequently Asked Questions-
Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows registered charities to claim an additional 25p for every £1 donated by an eligible UK taxpayer.
For example, if you donate £10, Gift Aid allows us to claim an additional £2.50 from HM Revenue & Customs.
There is no additional cost to you.
-
You can tick the Gift Aid box if:
you are donating as an individual, rather than on behalf of a company;
you pay UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax; and
during the current tax year, you will pay at least as much Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax as all the charities you support will claim in Gift Aid on your donations.
The tax year runs from 6 April to 5 April.
Gift Aid adds 25p for every £1 donated. This means that, for example, you must have paid at least £2.50 in qualifying tax for Gift Aid to be claimed on a £10 donation.
-
By ticking the Gift Aid box at checkout, you confirm that:
you would like Max's Pottery* to claim Gift Aid on that donation;
the name and home address provided with your order are your own; and
you understand that you are responsible for paying any difference if you have not paid enough UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations.
You do not need to complete a separate form.
Gift Aid applies only to the voluntary donation added at checkout. It does not apply to your payment for courses, products or other services.
Please contact us if you believe Gift Aid should not have been claimed on your donation.
