🌾 This tall bottle vase brings together a flowing green glaze with hints of blue pooling around the belly, creating a natural, almost water-washed effect. The form is slender but grounded, with a wide belly tapering up to a dramatic flared rim that frames whatever you place inside.
I threw this piece on the wheel in High Wycombe, letting the form stretch a little taller than my usual bud vases — giving it a strong presence on a table or shelf. The glaze broke beautifully along the curves, giving depth and movement that rewards a closer look.
💡 Each tall vase I make has its own quirks of glaze and shape, so no two are alike. This one reminds me of riverbanks in late summer, where green reeds meet deep pools of water.
