Pottery Classes, Courses & Guided Sessions
Never touched clay before? Made one slightly haunted-looking mug years ago? You’re in the right place.
Our classes and guided sessions are for anyone who wants to learn, practice or build confidence with clay in a friendly studio setting. No experience is needed unless a specific session says otherwise.
Depending on what you book, you might try wheel throwing, handbuilding, trimming, decorating, glazing or specialist techniques.
Semi-tutored sessions are lightly guided, with one tutor offering brief help as you work.
Clay, tools and equipment are provided unless stated otherwise. Classes include glazing and firing a set number of pieces. Extra pieces, and anything made in semi-tutored sessions, can be fired for a small additional cost outlined here.
Already comfortable working independently? Have a look at Open Access sessions or Studio Memberships. This page is for learning, guidance and getting help before your bowl rebels and becomes a disobedient pile of wet clay.
